Tanzania Tobacco Control Forum (TTCF) is a coalition of members from several NGOs, government departments, private institutions, MPs and individuals, with a common interest in tobacco control. TTCF was formed during the WHO Framework Convention Alliance (FCA) East African Workshop on Tobacco Control Initiatives, which was held in Nairobi in November 2005. The Forum was formally registered in June 2006. At its formation, TTCF had 20 Founder Members and, membership has been growing steadily.
Tanzania Tobacco Control Forum operations were initially carried out both at the Executive Secretary’s office within the Animal Diseases Research Institute (ADRI) of the Ministry of Livestock Development and, the temporary office along Sinza A Mapambano Road
